Foreigners living in Turkey compared the level of local medicine with the level of the health care system in their countries.

More than 42 million doses of coronavirus vaccines have been used in Turkey to date.

Foreign citizens appreciated the country's health care system in a video titled “Lovers in these lands”, prepared by the Liaison Office of the Presidential Administration of Turkey.

In the video, the citizens took part in Italy, Germany, the UK and Greece, living in Balikesir, Izmir, Mugla and Antalya.

Videos shared on social networks the head of PR Department of the Presidential Administration of Turkey Fahrettin Altun.

“We thank all the social workers, in particular the medical staff, who became an example for the whole world by their deeds during the pandemic,” Altun wrote.

In the video, the Greek Yannis Yatilis, who lives in Balikesir, noted that doctors and medical personnel in Turkey are highly qualified.

“Despite the large number of visitors in public hospitals, the work is done in a clean and transparent manner. Everyone is informed, which is rare in Europe, ”he said.

British citizen Barbara Hughes said that in the province of Mugla, where she lives, all citizens of her age group were vaccinated.

“To be honest, the situation is better here than in many countries. My brother lives in Spain, he is still waiting in line for the vaccine. My aunt is 80 years old, she lives in South Africa and is also waiting in line for vaccinations, ”said Hughes.

According to living in Antalya, a German citizen Michael Vigante, the Turkish government during lookdown it does much more than the German government for the people.

“They took care of senior citizens, those who could not go to the store. Medical care is better here, "- said Vigante.
