Turkey launches Turkovac-CoronoVac vaccine trials

Phase-3 studies of the Turkovac Corona vaccine have been announced before. Good news came from Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca for Turkovac, which is expected to start production towards the end of the year. While the three-dose corona vaccination process continues throughout the country, the coronavirus vaccine Turkovac will be able to start applications in a short time.

Turkovac, is an inactivated vaccine and last week it waw began to administer  on volunteers in Istanbul as part of Phase 3 trials.

Turkey has administered over 62.2 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines since it launched a mass inoculation drive in January, according to official figures on Thursday.
